In the spirit of the Treaty of institution of the European Community and consideringthe need to maintain and develop a space of freedom, security and justice in the purpose ofthe free circulation of individuals, of goods, services and commodities, the Communityconsidered as opportune the adoption of certain measures in the field of judicial cooperationin civil and commercial field, which to have a cross-border incidence, therefore instituting, onEuropean level, a new freedom, the one of free circulation of the legal decisions. Therefore, itwas adopted the (EC) Regulation no. 1896/2006 of the European Parliament and Council asof 12.12.2006 regarding the institution of an European procedure of payment order, of whichpurpose is the one to simplify, to accelerate and reduce the procedure costs in the crossbordercauses regarding non-challenged pecuniary receivables, also ensuring the freecirculation of the European orders for payment within all the member states by establishingsome minimum standards of which compliance removes any other intermediary procedure inthe member state of execution before acknowledging the execution1

APPLICATION OF ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL EXPERTISE IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Any economic stress in itself carries a particular risk, since it creates problems in different areas, influencing individual incomes/expenditures, as well as incomes/ expenditures in the healthcare sector. The imbalance in the healthcare system can be understood as an unexpected phenomenon that occurs outside of the healthcare system but leads to negative consequences of access to resources in the healthcare system; in terms of access to medical services. The healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova is perceived as unproductive, which diminishes its prioritization. Therefore, the healthcare system is poorly funded, with few efficient regulations, which made it extremely sensitive during times of crisis, being unpredictable for new challenges. The authors consider that a method of anticipating the crisis in the healthcare system could be the application of economic and financial expertise.Any economic stress in itself carries a particular risk, since it creates problems in different areas, influencing individual incomes/expenditures, as well as incomes/ expenditures in the healthcare sector. Development of New PM Iron-Based Materials for Self-Lubricating Bearings

    Get PDF
Using PM technologies, new antifriction materials based on iron powder with different addition elements were developed in order to obtain self-lubricated bearings with improved tribological features. The elemental powder mixtures were blended for 2 hours in a 3D homogenization device, were compacted at a pressure of 500 MPa, and then sintered in dry hydrogen atmosphere at different temperatures for different maintaining times. The effect of technological parameters on physical properties (density and dimensional changes) was presented in this study. The mechanical and tribological properties (tensile strength, hardness, impact energy, friction coefficient, and wear rate) related to addition elements were evaluated. The tribological behaviour of the selected iron-based alloys was analysed by pin on disc tests without lubrication. Also, the wear surface scars and the microstructure of the wear surfaces were investigated

Implementing and Running a Workflow Application on Cloud Resources

    Get PDF
Scientist need to run applications that are time and resource consuming, but, not all of them, have the requires knowledge to run this applications in a parallel manner, by using grid, cluster or cloud resources. In the past few years many workflow building frameworks were developed in order to help scientist take a better advantage of computing resources, by designing workflows based on their applications and executing them on heterogeneous resources. This paper presents a case study of implementing and running a workflow for an E-bay data retrieval application. The workflow was designed using Askalon framework and executed on the cloud resources. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how workflows and cloud resources can be used by scientists in order to achieve speedup for their application without the need of spending large amounts of money on computational resources.Workflow, Cloud Resource

ERAWATCH Country Report 2008 - An Assessment of Research System and Policies: Romania

    Get PDF
The main objective of ERAWATCH country reports 2008 is to characterise and assess the performance of national research systems and related policies in a structured manner that is comparable across countries. The reports are produced for each EU Member State to support the mutual learning process and the monitoring of Member States' efforts by DG Research in the context of the Lisbon Strategy and the European Research Area. In order to do so, the system analysis focuses on key processes relevant for system performance. Four policy-relevant domains of the research system are distinguished, namely resource mobilisation, knowledge demand, knowledge production and knowledge circulation. The reports are based on a synthesis of information from the ERAWATCH Research Inventory and other important available information sourcesJRC.J.3-Knowledge for Growt

Evaluarea legăturii dintre neuropatia autonomă cardiovasculară și funcția tiroidiană

Background. Thyroid hormones are known to affect the autonomic nervous system. Studies have shown that thyroid hormone deficiency is associated with an increase influence of sympathetic nervous system on the autonomic cardiovascular system. Objective of the study. To evaluate the link between thyroid function and the presence of cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN). Material and Methods. The retrospective study included 80 patients with type 1 diabetes, who were divided into two groups: I-40 patients with CAN and II-40 patients without CAN. Thyroid hormones were determined in both groups: TSH, FT4 and Anti-TPO. Results. From the study group: 25 - had a history of thyroid pathology, of which 7 people from the control group and 18 people from the group with CAN. In the group with CAN autoimmune thyroid pathology predominated in 13 people. Patients with thyroid hyperfunction were not present. Both subclinical and clinically manifest hypothyroidism were present only in the group of patients with type 1 diabetes and CAN (p < 0.01). No correlations were found between the presence of CAN and TSH, FT4 and AntiTPO levels. Conclusion. According to the results of the study, the link between thyroid pathology and the presence of CAN was not assessed.Introducere.
